  • • If you are dropping off parade participants, please be prepared to exit the staging area immediately. Only vehicles in the parade will be allowed in the staging area.
  • • If you have several vehicles in your entry, please arrive at the line-up area at the same time. Late entries will not be allowed to participate in the parade.
  • • All floats must be decorated before entering the staging area due to time and space constraints. Due to the roundabouts on downtown Main Street, parade entries cannot exceed 40 feet in length. In order to address safety concerns, the Farmington Police Department has issued rules and regulations for all parades in Farmington.
  • • YOU MAY NOT THROW CANDY TO THE CROWD
  • • YOU MAY WALK THE PARADE ROUTE WITH YOUR FLOAT AND HAND OUT CANDY.
  • • Groups who perform along the parade route may perform a maximum of three times for one minute each time.
  • • The group may also perform in front of the judge's stand for a reasonable time. We understand that it is fun to interact with the crowd.

We encourage you to have fun but please do so in a safe manner. Our wish is for everyone to have fun and to be safe.

Please contact one of our volunteers wearing a Safety Vest before or during the parade if you need assistance.
